1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between you — as an individual or on behalf of an entity — and Solene ("we", "our company"), regarding your access to and use of the website solene.pt, as well as any mobile application, social media channel, or other medium associated with it (collectively, the "Site"). By accessing the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any of them, you must immediately cease using the Site.

We may amend these Terms at any time by updating the date at the top of the document. It is your responsibility to review this document periodically. Continued use of the Site after an update implies acceptance of the changes.

The information provided on the Site is intended for users in jurisdictions where its distribution and use are legally permitted. If you access from another country, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable local laws.

2. Minimum Age

The Site is intended for users aged 16 or over. No data related to the aforementioned Data Management is stored until the user reaches adulthood.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, all content on the Site — code, design, text, images, videos, logos, and trademarks — is owned by Solene or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright laws, trademark laws, and other intellectual property legislation applicable in Portugal and the European Union.

We grant you a limited license to access and use the Site, and to download or print content exclusively for personal and non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted remain reserved to Solene.

4. Discounts and Promotions

Only one discount can be applied per order. Promotional codes, discounts, and store credits are not cumulative in the same transaction. If more than one option is available, the customer must choose which one they wish to apply at checkout.

5. User Commitments

By using the Site, you declare and warrant that: (1) you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms; (2) you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside; (3) you will not access the Site through automated means (bots, scripts, or similar); (4) you will not use the Site for illegal or unauthorized purposes; and (5) your use will comply with applicable law.

If you provide false, outdated, or incomplete information, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any current or future use of the Site.

The localization cookie is used to adapt the cart to the correct country, for 2 weeks. The login_with_shop_finalize cookie facilitates logging in through the Shop app, for 5 minutes. The shopify_pay cookie keeps the session logged into Shop Pay when returning to checkout, for 1 year. The storefront_digest cookie allows previewing the store when it is password-protected, for 1 year.

Statistics and analytics cookies

They help us understand how visitors use the store so we can improve it.

The _landing_page cookie records the visitor's landing page when they arrive from another site, for 2 weeks. The _orig_referrer cookie allows identifying where visitors come from, for 2 weeks. The _shopify_analytics cookie contains analytical data about navigation in the store and at checkout, for 1 year. The shopify_override_user_locale cookie defines the user's preferred language, for 1 year.

Important note: this list only covers the cookies that Shopify places by default. If you use additional tools — Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Klaviyo, customer support chat, product reviews, or any app from the app store — each of them adds its own cookies, which must be added to this policy to be complete and compliant with GDPR. Returns

You can return your purchase within 3 days of receiving the item (except during promotional periods where this condition may not apply), provided the item is in the same condition as received and is returned in its original packaging. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds or exchanges will only be processed after our warehouse confirms receipt and verification of the returned item. Original shipping costs, as well as the cost of the Solene return label, are non-refundable.

Defective Items

If you received a defective item, we'll handle it without the need for a return — we'll replace it for free. Go to our [Warranty Claim] page and follow the instructions. Once we receive the completed form, we will proceed with the free replacement.

How to Return an Item

Request a refund or exchange through our [Returns Page] or our [Support Center].
You will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to return the item(s), depending on your location. If you proceed with the return, you will have two shipping options:

a) Solene return label

A prepaid label will be generated and sent to the email address used in the return request.
Returns made with a Solene label are fully tracked from start to finish — you will receive a tracking link by email to follow the process every step of the way.
The cost of the label (€[X]) will be deducted from the refund amount.
You have 10 days to use the label from the date of issue. If it is not used within this period, it will be cancelled; if you still wish to return the item, you will have to use your own label, becoming eligible only for store credit.
Note: Solene return labels may not be available for all destinations outside the EU. In such cases, the own label option, described below, applies.

b) Own label

You can send the item via the carrier of your choice, at your own expense.
You must provide us with the tracking number and carrier details — we cannot guarantee a refund without visible proof of shipment.
It is mandatory to use a tracked shipping service. If the order is not delivered to our warehouse due to an incomplete or incorrect address, you will have to resend the item at your own expense before we can process the refund or exchange.

Carefully pack the item(s) and send it(them) according to the instructions provided.
Once we receive the return, we will process it within 10 business days. The refunded amount does not include original shipping costs.

Exchanges

Exchanging your purchase for another item is free. Go to our [Exchanges Page] to request an exchange.

If you choose a higher value item, you will have to pay the corresponding difference. If you choose a lower value item, we will refund the difference.

Solene is responsible for managing the delivery. By placing an order through this Website, you are accepting the terms below, which define the conditions of our shipping service and protect both parties regarding the expectations of the process.

1. Stock Availability

All orders are subject to stock availability. We do our best to keep the stock count updated on our website, but occasionally a discrepancy may occur that prevents us from fulfilling your entire order at the time of purchase. In this case, we will send the available items and contact you to find out if you prefer to wait for the missing item to be restocked or receive a corresponding refund.
